    the 59 I’ve just ordered some SD Bonamassa skinnerburst pickups ( is this wrong ?)

    What is it about the 59 that you feel is lacking? I find pickup swaps work great when trying to tweak a guitar’s sound in a certain direction, but I don’t find they work so well if you’re trying to completely change the character of the guitar as this is determined by the wood.

    Not sure the sound isn’t right to my ear and also silky as it sounds the ageing on the pups looks are shit, very bad job of ageing look like they’ve been dipped in oil

    How different are these RI's to a Gibson Custom, like the black ones with double binding etc? Are they completely different? I want something exactly like my R8 but black.

    sorry but the way i look at it is if you buy something brand new then decide to sell it ,yes its in new condition but its not brand new, its now s/h
     If it had a logbook like a car it would now say 1 owner where as if you bought a car from a dealership brand new you would be the first registered owner 
     Its like selling a car that has had 1 owner for 1 month  saying its brand new for full price

    If I was wanting to sell I'd take it to Charlie Chandler and get him to sell it on commission.  Get a lot more than that.
