    PS - it’s only fair someone else gets the chance to fuck up the only bass solo on the day

    Who's-playing-what-list updated on page1.

    Plenty of vocals slots still available ...

    I'm assuming that @ChrisMusic 's comment above means that he's not intending to play on anything.  Chasers again to;
    @McToot ;;;;;;;
    @Winny_Pooh ;;;;;;;

    If you follow the link to the playlist I find that Spotify defaults to 30seconds of each song, if you go into Spotify and search for the FB Jam WaterRats Jun 2018 the list with full songs comes up.
    I don’t think spotify playlists works with internet explorer.
    I'm using Safari and it doesn't work on that either, but if you have the Spotify App and find the playlist it seems fine as per @TTony post.

    That's right @TADodger -  didn't work for me in Safari either.  Apparently  the compatible browsers are Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Opera.

    You set a high bar though ...

    If anyone is missing out, I'm amazed how many slots I've got - so please give me a shout if you'd like one of mine.

    Want to get a chance to hang out in both rooms (and maybe sit near @Bridgehouse)

    No complaint and I'm happy to do them all BTW

    Can I please go down for lead on "Champagne Supernova"?

    As for my playing ability, variable depending on mood, I'm OK on a good day...?
    @TTony sorry forgot to tag you!

    I would really like to play something with our star drummer (I mean our other star drummer who isn't @mrkb )  so could I please in addition to the above be down for Vox and Guitar (Rhythm) on Come Together and Beat It

    Come Together has a very, very cool guitar solo I will try and learn but probably best if someone else takes it if they are actually good!
    We have to be so very careful, what we believe in...

    I'd like a go at Teenage Kicks please as my 'band' have decided to learn it. Happy to step back from Fortunate Son or American Woman. Sorry for being a pain.

    I can also drum Fortunate Son if needed - I know it already.

    Just
    @Winny_Pooh ;;;;;;;;
    @pcurtis100 ;;;;;;;;

    to claim any slots, or confirm that they don't want any.

    As you'll from the list, there are a few tracks that'll need a couple (or more) run throughs ...

    Tony, I'll flex my vocal chords on Down at the Doctors - will need to check it's in my range when I'm back home at the weekend. I'll also have a look at the rhythm guitar part on that as well.

    Same goes for the vox on All Right Now (Will check the vocal range at the wkend).

    Same for vox on Tush.

    I'll happily have a go at any of the other vocals if needed.

    Wouldn't mind doing rhythm guitar + vox harmonies on Learning to Fly

    I quite fancy the idea of bass on Beat it.  Put me down for it for now.   if I practice it and struggle then I'll drop out and let someone else do it.

    Was looking at the vocals, but I'm not that I can sing some of them without going down an octave.  Most of the easy ones seem to be taken.

    Ok, I'll sing Vocal 1 on 'Comfy', that'll be RW's part "Hello,.......is there anybody in there", mainly because I'm Only playing lead on that track and at those points, I'm not actually playing the guitar.

    I've never been able to do Vocal 2, DG's part and that does need an electro-acoustic strummed along to it to sound right.

    I can bring my Gretsch which will get close enough for that if someone wants to play it?

    I'll have my acoustic with me anyway. I've never looked at it but I'm sure it can't be too hard so I'll nab that bit.

    Are we doing Beat It in the original Eb?  Or are we going to do it in E to avoid down tuning?

    I can't speak with any authority, but at previous jams we've not tuned to Eb... We've tended to stick to standard tuning

    At quad we did it in e. It was a lot easier. I practiced in eb

    I need to check for Comfortably numb, I am down for rhythm, when I usually play it I play a mix of what I think is the piano chords and a bit of the strings part, is it easier if I stick to the piano chords?

    Easy either way regarding playing Beat It in Eb or E.

    Come Together has two solo's (not yet claimed), the first of which is harmonised. Although this makes me feel a little uncomfortable, I would like to put my name down for one of the harmonised solo parts.

    Yes.
    It's subtle through the verses and gets a bit more enthusiastic towards the end over the second solo.

    Also we can't fade out as per studio track so I'll use the same contact point that DG does live to signal the ending.
    Listen to any live version. DG hits the very top frets in the solo only once and it's right before the end. When you hear that it means finish next time around.....

    I've got the BT if you want it and that it set up to finish as per the live track.

    Oh, and what key for Signed Sealed Delivered? I'm happy in the original (F) but does anyone want to change?

    I did it with the Rock Project in F (standard tuning with a capo at the first fret).
