First half of the song - I'm on the right of the stage (the top of this video) - apologies for the orientation

Just a tiny snippet - can barely see the band and cuts off just as it gets to the good part :-)
The Moot - The Cabbage Patch, Twickenham.
another one
Friday evening we played at the 50th Anniversary of the St Johns school in Friern Barnet, N11 - sweltering hot day - 29 degrees with no breeze, and the sun was so bright when we set-up that I couldn't see the red /green LED tuner on my Tonelab SE, but fortunately I had a back-up tuner with me. Our friend Rick was there doing the sound engineering for us and he did a nice job. We started playing around 7 and did two sets but even though it cooled down a little it was incredibly humid and we were dripping wet. But everyone had a good time and we went down well.
Saturday we were on the main stage at the East Barnet Festival - we were on at 1:30 and did a 45 min set - 30 degrees heat but although we were getting a slight breeze it was baking hot and we were all soaking wet - it's really hard to play when your hands are wet & sticky and keeping hold of the pick! But we had a smashing time playing and really enjoyed ourselves. The biggest problem with these kind of gigs is that you have no sound check, one band follows the other, you have to set-up & pack away fast and you're at the complete mercy of the sound engineer. My wife and eldest daughter Lydia were there and captured some stuff on their mobiles.
And we finished in time to get back home and watch the footie - 2- 0 against Sweden and into the semi-final...what a cracking day!! ENGLAND!
So here's a few video clips of the songs from our set at the East Barnet Festival:
Are you gonna go my way (closing number)
Honky tonk women
Ramble on
Rain (our opening number)
Don't know if this link will work... but last weekend I depped for a band called The Dualers who were supporting UB40 and Aswad at Garon's Park in Southend ... had a great day and got to debut my new gold top tele...
I should be seeing Aswad in a few weeks, I have very fond memories of seeing them nearly thirty years ago. I did see UB40 once but they were just sooo dull, much rather see The Dualers.
I’ll put the link on now.
I think I that is you in the back at Derby.

bloody magnificent that!!!
Does this work? This was us last weekend - unfortunately we were playing at the same time as England and also playing much less successfully!
Placidcasual79 said:@Placidcasual79 ;yes that works...good version and like the way you work Tide is High into it at the end.... was that at Mfest in St Albans..if it was our old drummer Matt does the sound for that...
I am sure Ive asked you this before - but whats your set up? How do you get your sound?
volume around 4-5.. treble on 5.. bass on 7 reverb on 2-3... and that's it. Switch to the middle pick up for the 2tone stuff and for the odd solos I do I use a Boss Bluesdriver.
