Personally I subscribe to the (Bill Wyman?) view that nobody should notice the bass until it’s missing when they should be puzzled why the music suddenly sounds crap.

I have messaged the factory studios for the live room and a rehearsal room for sept 12th (sat) asking for a provisional booking, god, covid and other things willing. I'll let you know if they reply

Just realised the proposed date is now only 5 weeks away and theres been very little discussion on songs, logistics. Is this jam likely to go ahead? If so might be worth getting the title updated with the date and starting a songs list.

I think I'm reluctant as we are the main support/carers for my elderly mother in law who's really ill so we are keeping outside contact to a minimum so I'd have to pass the booking baton to someone else. At the moment we are pencilled in with th studio so it wouild be good to either let them know asap or for another volunteer to be in charge of talking to them

I’m afraid I’d also have to pull out if we keep the Sept 12th date, as my other commitments now clash with that, sorry!
