    You could but that would be a drawing not a photo. And no, you can’t take a photo of a drawing of a guitar.

    I anticipated some teething problems, but let’s try to avoid this in descending into silliness :)

    I actually already have a plan for what I want to achieve for this. Just need to work out how to get the shot right without copious photoshop. 

    With that in mind, are there any rules in terms of processing? I assume basic Lightroom / PS stuff is fine provided it doesn't go beyond "photography" and into "digital art manipulation"? Though admittedly everyone seems to draw the line between these in a slightly different place.

    What is that in your picture, @skunkwerx? I like the colour :)

    Incidentally, I had two pictures and wasn't sure which one to use. This is the one that didn't make the cut:


    Too much gain... is just about enough \m/

    My entry is in, I really struggled to come up with something that might be considered a bit different......
    I even had 8 Strats in various poses on the lawn!! Caught the neighbour watching, bet she thought I'd lost it!!....

    I absolutely agree; however, it was discussed when idea pooling that the 'comment thread' could/should be used for said settings to make the 'competition thread' text free. If everyone is happy with this info being there, then it's okay with me too  :)
