I've spent the morning looking a Stingray pickups and getting Dancing in the Moonlight right on bass... it hurts a lot less than this, so I'm sure I'll switch back later!

Not to de-rail too much, it is a Robot body with an ebony fretboard and binding on the neck and headstock.

I got the body from America then sourced Gibson (and other) parts to re build. Pick ups are Seymour Duncan’s.

It isn't going anywhere! Although, once the market gets over the immediate impact of this deal, I suspect things will return to normal. £2.5k is second hand value for these give or take.

It’ll take a few months for the market to restabilise and I think the trade in value was always going to be lower anyway but one would hope that a year from now you could get virtually what you paid on a secondhand sale.
