Alright.. Alright...

Snowy Sunday. Had an hour to sit down and do this.

Northern Jam Song List for Room 1

Here's how this works:

- This is the List for Room 1 (for other rooms, we need to get a running list of songs sorted - but this one is the priority)
- Reply to this thread with your choices as to what you want to play on and in what capacity (note the Guitar column headers - be specific!)
- I want to allocate 2 vocalists per song so we have a backup in case of drop outs or issues
- Drums & Bass - @Legionreturns can you advise - I've picked some for me for a starter
- If we get a lot of subscribers for some and not for others I may chop and change, delete some, and repeat some others

The list is based on:

- Suggestions from the songs thread
- Stuff from the other Jams I know works
- I've missed off some as I know they are difficult to logistically do on the day.

So - Time to get picking!!

Another brick
No surface (if we do more than once - not while playing probably!)

I'm going to try for lead guitar on No surface

Happy to play rhythm on anything else. Already know a fair few a of those.

I'd like to sing and do lead guitar on a version of Another Brick and Purple Rain please. Ditto White Room.

There's loads of others I could do but I won't offer at this stage because although I'm confident that my anxiety and stress levels are improving fast enough for me to make it, my father is also ill with cancer and deteriorating quite rapidly, so I may have to pull out for that reason.

I'll do rhythm on No Surface for @Legionreturns ;, as we've already kinda practiced that one together.

I'll do lead on Alive if I may, as that was my suggestion originally. If there are any spaces for either rhythm or lead after everyone's put their oar in, I'll happily fill the blanks as I'm familiar with all the tracks so should be able to learn them by Jan.

Also happy to give bass a whirl on a few tracks if needed, as long as it's not too fancy and I can borrow someone else's bass!

I'll fill in your definites for now, then if there are gaps I will do a "who can fill in?" Post and you can fill in

I think I nominated myself for vocals and outro lead on White Room with someone else doing the wobbly wah bits during the song.

I'll play slide lead on Tush. I can play with @SteveRobinson on All Right Now, especially as he made the guitar I'd play anyway!

For rhythm, if someone has taken the first slot, we can easily accommodate a "guitar other" extra rhythm. Same for lead. Just say if you want to have a go.
