and I have forgot his name, playing the PRS in the jam room, really enjoyed his calm and methodical persona.
was great putting more faces to usernames.. and I am chuffed to bits I got up and sang Pretty Vacant
FANTASTIC day, thanks to all for making it so cool.
Big shout to @darthed1981 for driving (and coming back to drop my phone off after I left it in the car... I am a prat).
Great to put names to faces and hope we can do it again soon.
Thanks to everyone for an awesome day and for letting me play (badly) and screech!
My Trading Feedback | You Bring The Band
Just because you're paranoid, don't mean they're not after youAwesome day.
Thanks to Mark (@Bridgehouse) for doing so much and running the day.
Thanks to @Alnico for all his help too.
Thanks to the forum admins @TTony and @digitalscream for all their help in getting the day going.
Thanks to @slacker and @horse for being part of the rhythm section with me and giving everyone else such a great platform to showcase their talents.
Apologies if I missed anyone out.
I really do applaud everyone for turning up and giving their best- it is a scary thing to do.
I noticed a couple of moments when I could see people's internal dialog working when things went a bit sideways- we've all been there and good on you for fighting through with it.
I really mean that- we have all been there and don't underestimate how much progress can be made by just keeping on at it.
It is easy for those of us who have done hundreds or in some cases thousands of gigs.
Playing in front of people is a skill as much as guitar playing is a skill and you absolutely get better at it the more you do it.
Mistakes are just things you learn from- I made a bunch of mistakes throughout the day- the trick is to shrug them off, not let them unsettle you but then remember 'ah yes, that thing I screwed up needs work... let's fix it' and do the work to do that.
Keep learning, keep pushing, keep playing.
