Time to buy a tenor guitar!

I have one of these, it's great fun
    Blueridge BR 60T

Forgot to say, this is tuned in fifths (like violins, cellos, etc), and consequently opens a whole new world of chords and harmonies. Also smaller than normal guitars.

AFAIK a lot of folk songs work well on these

  • I've been through loads with a max budget of 2k and the Eastman E10p was my favorite. Much preferred it to the 00 model.

My favourite living room guitar is actually my Casino.

    It's very light.
It plays beautifully and easily so relaxing.
Because there's no centre block it's got just enough acoustic that it is loud enough to play above the boring TV bits and sound nice with no amp.
But it's not properly loud like my Guild acoustic, so I can still play when my wife goes to bed early
Elegant, stylish, it looks beautiful on the stand.

The Eastman Parlour that 'silly moustache' plays on his YT channel sounds fantastic. Not a hint of boxiness.

This more than gets the job done. Super dynamic, from whisper to window rattling. Looking pretty good for 84 yrs old, my 1939 Gibson L00.

84 years old...wow! I bet you treasure that and you *should*

I use my ES-330 in the same way. Not so often on the couch specifically but unplugged while at the WFH desk

I think he only posted a handful of times. He joined after getting a two week ban for talking politics on the AGF.

    He's a lovely chap. Just don't try to tell him a J45 is a slope shoulder dreadnought. It's a JUMBO!  :3

    Blueridge something or other..
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

Dunno, I just use my eyes, been doing it for years.

Seriously though, no idea. I'm on my phone (android), don't know if that is a factor?

It’s meant to be 6 berth but we only use it as two with the actual bedroom the only bed we use. It’s 58 ft long. Here’s a pic looking back towards the bathroom/toilet

    And here’s the kitchen area

Is anyone else having trouble seeing the pics apart from Bertie?
