    Rob at ProAudio Service, Coalville

    Decent chap, knows his stuff, helpful attitude, fixed my mixing desk without any BS or charging for unnecessary work.

    Another +1 for Rob, certainly knows his stuff, reasonably priced and turn-around time nothing short of astounding!

    Agreed. Nice guy, fixed my amp quickly for a reasonable fee and didn't even complain when he had to keep it for an extra month when the Leicester lockdown was imposed!

    Definitely recommended, would happily go back.

    Well, not happily, because it'll mean something's broken, but you know...

    Don't talk politics and don't throw stones. Your royal highnesses.

  • Sick Amps in Harlow. Just had my Mark IV repaired and serviced. Had a difficult to fix issue that Chris managed to figure out, replaced certain incorrect components that a previous repair guy fitted and a new set of power section valves.

    Very professional and easy to use service.

    This bloke has done some good work on my stuff in Sheffield.

    Since we lost the inestimable Pete Hartley, I have struggled to find someone that I trust to dig around in my amps, and Andy as now made it to that status!

  • Not an Amp repair, but a pedal repair (there isn't such thing in the FX area)

    Just had my original 70's Small Stone phaser repaired by @ICBM ;

    He was nothing but informative, helpful, speedy, and great value. And gently reminded me at how bad i was at using a soldering iron 10years ago!

    Thank you again!

    Lots of Nice Guitars, and not enough pedals!

    I might as well throw my hat in the ring.
    I mostly do synths but used to do quite a lot of amps.

    Any recommendations for Glasgow, Lanark/South Lanark?

    No longer in Edinburgh, so the above area would be more convenient by half the journey time. Getting into edinburgh city centre from the outskirts can take a good percentage of the time it takes me to get from where I am to Edinburgh bypass :lol:

    Already checked with ICBM and he's at capacity for the time being :+1:

    Henk was temporarily out of action in the latter part of 2020 due to a bad knee injury and again for a short while early this year due to Covid. He's been working normally during most of this year and is providing his usual excellent service.

    John at Radtronix just outside York.
    Old school electrical engineer did an amazing job on my AC30CC1. Stripped and cleaned the whole thing. Diagnosed the weird noises, new rectifier valve, cleaned all the pots, found an intermittent conection to one of the boards, new springs in the reverb tank, squared up the bent chasis from 15 years on knocks. And tested a couple of old mullard valves I bought from ebay.  £180 all in.
    The amp is now weirdly silent when not playing. Sounds miles better than i remembered.

    John only responds to phonecalls not the contact box on his website.
    It took him a couple of weeks but I wasnt in a rush.

    Roland Lumby - The Amp Clinic.  He did a great job on my old original Vibroverb, and I have a Super Reverb from 71 that will go there soon.
    Contrary to public opinion I'm near Manchester and Huddersfield and not near the M20!

    Quick recommendation for Noisy Hammer in Norwich.  Had my AC15 head back up and running in no time, and they make a very nice-looking range of custom amps/cabs.  Great to finally find a capable, professional amp tech in Norwich!

    Thanks @RyanNoisyHammer ;

    He has my Marshall DSL401 at the moment so I will see how that goes.

    The amp is back home now and worked fine at rehearsal. Price wasn't too bad taking in to account that the cost of valves is through the roof at the moment. So thumbs up for Andrew Horseman.

  • I have found a few names , but would be good for recommendations in Aylesbury area.
    It is for family member who has a 20+ year old Fender amp ( hybrid Princeton I think). It needs a good service and maybe some pots replaced.
