Trying out Spanish cedar body and neck it weighs 6.8lb strung up, should be good
Sorry to ask a boring guitar-related question ... that looks like a compensated bridge/tailpece you're using there.

Which one, and where can I buy them (with posts) in the UK?
That's a mojoaxe vintage style one, i get them from the states and they're bloody expensive but work best imo

Have a look at rockinger in Germany they do a compensated one with steps milled into the tailpiece, i used one on a goldtop i made
There's an ABM bridge as well which seems to be identical to the Rockinger.  Presumably that's where Rockinger get them from.

This deserves so many more wows than it has got.
Can't sing, can't dance, can handle a guitar a little.

I'm sure I didn't see that picture last time I looked.  Maybe it didn't load properly.

    Wow indeed!

    Love it.

    Simple.

    Perfection.

(I'd skip the scratchplate, but I know I'm "odd"!)

I've got a different dc idea with no pickguard and it's having a burst paintjob, i will be hiding the tenon under the cap

Tv yellow junior just waiting for light ageing, the fretboards already been done, vintage spec taken from a 58 and uses the old rule of 18 fret scale, it's the only one i use tbh

Why no headstock decals? This leaves your guitars open to the...obvious!

My headstocks have decals, the dc is a personal guitar and the headstock laquer isn't hard enough yet, the same with the t style ones, this gets them out the workshop

If someone buys one I'll put a decal on it if they want it, this was really rushed tbh

i do all my necks based on a 58 dc I've got that needs restoration, lovely profile but i can do what anyone wants

You won't recognise the cocobolo when it's been aged, needs to be very dark for an aged finish
