We could do more than one Oasis song...
I was thinking of adding a couple of Mary Spender duets, but if you’re happy with Oasis..........
    Karma......

If she came (ahem) I'd probably agree to anything ;)

Can I suggest 'Wishing Well' by Free, please?

Alnico is going to teach me to play the Rhythm part while he plays the main riff and the lead so is it ok if I can play this with him?
I probably won't be able to handle the rhythm part all on my own so I'd love it if there's another rhythm guitar to follow and maybe duck behind when I lose track of things?
    lol.

    Thanks, guys.

That's a good idea.  Anything by the pixies, seconded the idea of mardy bum love that song.  I'd like to play a solo so anything with an easy solo : )    I wouldn't mind doing to solo to comfy this time if it makes the list.

dosed by chilli peppers has multiple guitar parts and is great.Waterloo sunset maybe, how about American girl rather than learning to fly? Everlong perhaps.

Yup, did Boulevard at Sasquatch. And Time of Your Life (sort of - didn't record it, and then planned posh version was cut down to open mic stylee at the last minute due to logistics). No reason they can't be done again.

Why did you prefer this to say “Rocking in the free” world? Seems to have a lot of slide on it - is the slide bits what you wanted to learn?

Two suggestions for tracks with keys:

So Into You - Atlanta Rythym Section
Arc Of A Diver - Steve Winwood

No trouble. I noted Rockin' in the Free World. No problems saving Old Man for another time.

Actually, just listened to Rockin' again, and agree it's a cracker! I'd be happy to consider doing lead or rhythm on this.

I’ll attempt to put a longlist together for perusal - would that be useful?

I think it probably would indeed.

Another vote for "Mardy Bum" - I'd like to give a recording of me singing and playing on it in one version or other to my wife, it pretty much sums up my marriage....

Something a little different: Metallica - seek and destroy.

    Easy enough excluding the solo.

I had started putting one together based on suggestions so far, previous songs and resting a few that always get played. Do you still want me to do this?

I realise this one is only 12 weeks away, so needs sorting a bit quicker to give people learning totally new songs a good opportunity, but need to check who the final attendees are before we finalise the song list as well.
    Karma......
