One thing to note with the T-Racks Black 76 - it installs the whole T Racks CS suite, so your plug-in library is filled with extra IK plugins, but they need paying for (or a 14 day free trial activating) to be used. Mildly annoying to get a 2gb download for one freebie, but the Black 76 is worth the hassle!

I’ve managed to slowly build up my collection of the SSL plugins by waiting for them to be free or big discounts. 2 were free with the SSL2 interface. not sure I need the channel strip, I guess it would be used for mainly vocal inputs? and I’ve got all the stuff on it in separate plugins already.
Sometimes there'll be a graphic design choice or something about how it works that gets in your way - example being the BX Focusrite channel strip - I really loved the idea of it and really wanted to like it... but the knob layout and colour scheme gets in my way when I'm trying to use it - I need to think about things. And the high shelf does half the db change it says it's doing, and the filters sound too severe at the corner frequencies I'd pick as a starting point... so I don't use it.
On the other hand, the BX Neve it like having a helping hand. I know where everything is, and when I hear something I want to change I can turn the knobs straight to where I think the problem is, swipe the mouse in one direction or the other, and it's problem solved, move on. It's a tool that I can use quickly and effectively.

A guy from a band I tour manage has a tremendous home studio setup, a load of Chandler preamps and limiters, some Pultec EQ and a bunch of other tasty bits. Tracks to tape too. He's got hardware chains properly figured out for all his sources, and commits to loads of sonic decisions on the way in, but when you've got hardware like that you can make those moves!

You can get a lot of DSP algorithms for free from places such as https://www.musicdsp.org/en/latest/ .... then you slap a GUI on them, charge $49.99, and make some cashola.
Also whilst we're at it, can everyone please stop falling for the Clipper Plugin Hype ??? Wanna know what a clipping plugin does????
That's it. Stop buying overpriced cack pushed by Youtubers!!

If you can’t make good music using pretty basic or stock plugins, it’s not the plugins that are the issue.
