Anyone know of any other options? I had the Godlyke and it seems to have died on me this morning.
Unfortunately, you can't get the Godlyke ones anymore. I need a couple of hundred mA so the diago one (I've got one of those too) is no good.
Gigrig doubler is £70!!!
When I google DC step up transformers there are a load on ebay for less than £10 and I'd be happy to solder the ends on, but I am guessing there might be something I'm missing.
Any ideas?

It seems that they all have very low current delivery.

It can deliver 3A / 60W max. But you need a 5V power supply that can deliver 60W as well.
I use it myself to power my Audio Kitchen Small trees with a powerbank. Wich is rated @ 12V / 1A. But for tube pedals you need to have double that power to start up properly.
It was a long search to find a battery powered solution for high current.
For 9V adapters you could look into the Gigrig doubler that delivers 18V / 500mA with a proper power supply.
I was hoping to avoid getting another 'device' and run it all off one socket.
I've ended up solving the problem another way as I remembered that I had a beefier power supply with an 18v tap at the back of the cupboard. All good.
However, it would still be good to work out a way to get a reasonable current at 18v without having to spend £60 on a gigrig doubler - which is basically the only thing on the market that will do it.
