    Implemented a few changes to the structure, mainly in response to suggestions / comments from various people here.


    The section that used to be called "Meta" is now retitled to "Help & Feedback" and is hopefully more obvious as to what it's about.

    Added a new section "Other Instruments" within the Gear section.  For talking about instruments that aren't guitars!

    Started an overhaul of the "how to post pics" thread.  It's now here.  It's now an index to threads covering the individual hosting sites, with the idea that any questions/problems relating to each site will be posted in the relevant thread, and thus easier to follow.  Will add "how to" for YouTube, SoundCloud, and anything else that people suggest, in due course.

    Updated the links (that I could find) to the original how-to thread to point at this new one.

    Started a "New members, start here" thread.  It's currently tucked away in the Index section, but will be stickied more prominently when it's finished.

    Merged the sub-sections that were within the Making & Modding section back into the main section - they'd run their course.  Post added to the main section to index back to the merged threads.

    Banned mihail for abuse of the Classifieds.

    He objected to a sale being pulled after he'd agreed a deal.  OP apologised & explained.  

    Mihail refused to let it go (arguing in the thread until I closed it, flagging the thread and then PM'ing me).  He then posted his own FS thread with a bunch of rather bargaintastic amps.  You know how that was going to play out - someone agrees to buy his bargain amps and he then pulls out to make the point of how unfairly he'd been treated in the original thread.

    To save time and aggravation all round - not least to me - he's banned.

    Good move.  I checked his IP and it's in Bulgaria.  Quite what part of 'Collection only from Surrey' he didn't get I don't know !
