Coming soon! Here's the artwork for a new batch of Utility Perkolators - these are Harmonic Percolotor variants with low-leakage high-gain Russian transistors. The boxes feature Berlin's Fernsehturm, for a nice East-meets-West, Cold War vibe.

Point taken, I outta put something in the FAQ on the site. There is, however, reason to my madness.

Okay, let's say you're a blues guy who posts on TGP... which pedal do you buy?

Now say you're a semi-alternative Nels Cline kinda guy who posts on OSG... you'd prefer the Zombie, right?

This dilemma is precisely why I didn't discontinue the Zombie when the Eagle was introduced. Too many people were asking for it by name, and I do love the little zombie-donkey-centaur guy.

Here's the new Utility Perkolator. Assembled the first batch yesterday, so they'll launch v. soon. It's a great sounding Harmonic Percolator variant with NOS Russian components.

I completed the boards for a new version of the Do The Weasel Stomp! pedal last night. It's an improved Systech Harmonic Energizer, now further improved with a footswitch for the fuzz, master volume and a fuzz volume control. Worked nicely once I located a duff trace (which took me 45 minutes to find...)

The enclosures are going to be slightly smaller than standard size, so I can use 5x10cm PCBs for both boards.

interesting listening to the noise floor stuff. I quite like all the hiss on a fuzz now,although not yet convinced my band mates...

Here's more on the Weasel Stomp MkII taking shape. I drew the enclosure in Draftsight this time:

Here's the prototype enclosure from the metal work shop. They've welded the edges and smoothed them off. Once powdercoated these edges look great. I'll assemble this tonight with the circuit boards above to make sure everything fits.
