    I have to be honest, I sort of want him to get away with it !  When you hear about escapees that have been caught, it's often tinged with a bit of sadness (unless they're paedomurderrapey types).

    If he really is doing something for the Iranians, then surely his best shot would be the embassy....   Maybe he's already in there !!  They would have to make some plans up for stormi.......  oh.......  yeah......  I forgot about that !

    As far as I understand, he is accused of "eliciting or attempting to elicit information of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism" in August 2021, and of "placing an article with the intention of inducing in another a belief that the said article was likely to explode or ignite and thereby cause personal injury or damage to property" around 2nd January 2023.  That's hardly the equivalent of stealing a bar of chocolate from the corner shop.

    Not really, and the detail is out there in the media. He attempted to pass on or sell restricted documents, and placed a hoax ied at his army base before absconding.
