Another Tosin Abasi associated guitar, just released by Music Man: Kaizen.

An ergonomic thin body, futuristic twist on a Strat design.

Looks a bit like an 80s keytar.

The Kaizen, the Billy Gibbons one, the Ovation (that takes me back) are all very pleasing to my eyes.. and the Telecaster..

Not crazy about any of the others.. I think I’m fairly conservative in my taste in guitars, if not in anything else..

Klein headless guitars. They're the ones who started me on the headless thing, and still have my attention these days although impossible to find at a reasonable price.

IIRC, we traded a guitar for a set of pickups that someone had made. And yes, still got the pickups

It’s a tribute to the old bluesmen’s cigar-box guitars.

It’s funny how what might be assumed to be the most conservative of genres featured some of the most radical designs - Albert King and Lonnie Mack with Flying Vs, Muddy Waters with a Guild Thunderbird...

My contributions...

This is a factory model - I think they gave someone a hacksaw after a liquid lunch!

I've only ever seen two of these: one was in a shop back in the day, and mine.

Complete junk - great, aren't they! (It has a Strat pickup pending/if the original pickup is repaired and sounds really good!)

These were possibly the worst basses ever made, but I quite like them; I sold this one on to another victim.

Even shorter scale.

Chucking in this one I made - the Rickenberger.

It's funny that you should like the Guilds but hate the Ovations, I like them both very much.

It's something to do with the big scratchplates, I think scratchplates are both ugly and cool. And I like the modular nature of scratchplates, being able to assemble everything away from the guitar then just attach it with a few screws and a couple of solder joints.

^^ I love the Corvus as well! I wish I'd bought one many years ago when (I would imagine) they were cheap. Not worth it now though.

Oddly enough I was just going to say that of all the unusual guitar shapes this is one I like and could even imagine owning one. I remember them from the 70s and thought they were cool then. Different strokes and all that…

As for Tiger above I am a huge Garcia fan but that’s so much his guitar I couldn’t imagine owning or playing one. Prefer his earlier Strat tones in any case.
