The flash c**t in me has been thinking of getting a Thalia for quite a while........... but not sure I can justify the cost
just because you do, doesn't mean you should.
thanks

I treated myself to a Thalia one, for my birthday, one year.. It comes with 2 sets (hard and soft) of radiused inserts, for different fretboard radii..
I find it to be the best capo I’ve ever used. They’re expensive, but I find it works best, for me.. so it’s worth it..
Ive had a Kyser type, which I hated (too fierce) and gave away, and a G7th (Nashville?) which I didn’t get on with, (pulled the guitar out of tune, slightly) and gave away..
As an alternative you might want to look at the Paige Capo range
I'm not gigging, so the speed thing doesn't matter so much. Didn't get around to ordering last night, so I will check the Paige and Shubb options.
(I've been putting up with one of those old-fashioned strap+ratchet capos, and that does sometimes pull strings out of tune as it moves slightly when tightening. So any one of these modern contraptions must be an upgrade.)
So I would get the G7th Nashville as it’s basically a Kyser copy .

(i'm quite the salesman)
Position over neck, squeeze, and job done.
But having just seen the price of a new one, I might stop leaving mine lying beside my computer where I use it as fidget toy, as I'm sure all that opening and closing won't be doing it much good
But it's a very minor gripe for a home player. Will try it on the Taylor at tonight.
Thanks all.

Currently unavailable so not helpful! But there's loads of sturdy, cheap, functional capos on Amazon. Just buy one that is cheap and looks good! If you're disappointed, try another one! (It will still be cheaper than an expensive G7 one.)
Edit: apologies, didn't realise I'd already posted a similar comment earlier. Some of these threads are long running!

I still use the G7s live but in the studio I tend to go with Shubbs.
