Onto the next one then!…

the last cover challenge winner @monquixote  has chosen:


”Fell in love with a girl ” by the White stripes…

However, as with previous challenges you can choose any song beginning with the letter “F”

But… if you cover either the chosen track you will automatically receive a bonus 5pts as a head start…

Entries to be sent in mp3 format to the following Email address:

You may wish to submit artwork to go with your entry. It brightens up the playlist and might subliminally get you more votes but it's not mandatory. 

Entries close at 11.30pm on Friday 24th June 2022... get cracking!!!!
 

A playlist of all the entries will also be posted below and in the voting thread. Vote for your top 3 with 5 points awarded  for first place, 3 points for second place and 1 point for third place. Entrants obviously aren't allowed to vote for their own entry.

    So far I've thought the official song was originally by Joss Stone, and before playing was expecting the entry by @poopot to be what I now realise is The Script's 'Breakeven (Falling To Pieces)'. :3

    It's not going well, except I've decided on my own choice, and it won't be a swing version!

    It's barely mixed. It's MIDI bass as I became rage.  And it gets sloppier and sloppier as I run out of talent and patience.  But I did it as it felt like a sneaky challenge from @flying_pie ... the bastard :)

    Bloody hell, I don't think my fingers can move that fast and that's without a guitar involved.

    I think I know what I'm going to do, but won't get a chance to record it until the kids are back at school.
