    That's great stuff guys thanks.  It's just a hernia op, but I'm led to believe that I shouldn't be lifting or straining anything for a bit so if I can make it I may need to play sitting down - not very rock and roll! 

    @Snags Thank you. I'm in Cottesmore, Rutland, so probably not really on your way.  That said, I am supposed to be at an event in Market Harborough the night before and staying overnight before travelling up to Leicester directly from there.  It's all a bit up in the air at the moment though.  I suppose it will be a fairly last minute decision based on how I'm recovering to be honest.

    Yes no problem - I think there are three rooms for jamming with others. Just find like minded people on the day- we’ll cover that at the intro session at the start.

    Well I've had little practice since September due to so much personal life crap going on so apart from doing rhythm on Thin Lizzy I'm in same boat. Was about to drop out but you putting that made me feel better!

    --> "Miss Bowie" at "The Shed" on Fri night sounds good.

    I don't think that there is anywhere close by to Quad to buy food. it isn't very far from the town but it is the other side of a dual carriageway. May be worth bringing food and drink with you. Coffee was available at the studio the previous times.
