Yeah I've succumb to the dark side, but only a little bit and I made it so I know it's good lol

I've got to make some more necks for others too

I'm doing a jazzmaster for me next then just Les Pauls, lots of em, got a special custom order that's going to be different and beautiful

Back to the proper stuff with an aged junior refinish for someone, coming along really nicely now, nylon nut next a bit of kicking then assembly time, can't wait to get it out the way

you're one of the first builders where I've a.) liked your headstock design personally b.) it's not looked wrong on the models you're making, really nice job. Envious of the capability.

Thanks so much for the nice compliments, it's a difficult balance, one thing I've realised is I can't use an f style body with a 3 a side headstock

Was it just the look, or do you think it detrimentally affected tone/playability in some way?

Personally I thought it sounded better than a strat, more musical but it was a set neck in all limba

There's a great guitar in there somewhere but I'll change the body shape to my coronet style which I'm calling the riff raff model

Doing an aged blonde tele and sonic blue strat
These are just for me and to take to shows as examples of my ageing, I've included tan lines and patchy clear coating etc, checking is looking good on the strat now
Long way to go with the blonde but it's looking good now
This ageing is based on an original 59 esquire and 61 strat I looked at recently

Chris Bucks red 62:strat along side my sonic blue one, not alot in it but mine plays much better with a 7.25 to 9.5 compound radius
Just need some mojo pickups, I'm really impressed with this guitar, I also did a neck just like my 58 dc basket case, it's perfect

My venture into offsets has begun, been meaning to get this done for a while, weighs 5.6lb now, it's having mojo pickups, staytrem bridge and arm with an aged shell pink nitro finish with matching headstock
I big mineral streak popped up during the neck carve but I like them and will still look good

    Wow.

Out of interest what would one of your compound 7.25-9.5" radius necks cost? Assuming you sell them seperately?
My Trade Feedback Thread is here

Been uploading old tracks I recorded ages ago and hopefully some new noodles here.

How's the jazzmaster turning out Dan? A mineral streak is sign of a strong tree I bet that neck is a player!
