...currently at Chester services putting more coffee into my face, having dropped Chris off safely in the back door to Wales! Should be home in another 90 minutes or so. 5am to 1am... and I'm still bouncing! You guys rock!
My Trading Feedback | You Bring The Band
Just because you're paranoid, don't mean they're not after youThings I learned:
1 - There's an MG ZR out there in even worse shape than mine.
2 - Cupid's Dead is definitely one of those songs where you need rehearsal to pull it off. Lots of rehearsal.
3 - Apparently I can stumble my way through Beat It without totally embarrassing myself. This was a surprise.
4 - Lots of folk really like my lightweight Tele.
5 - My Matrix cab makes at least one person really jealous at load-out time.
I might pick something a little easier to play next year...or maybe I'll just start learning it now
EDIT: I also unexpectedly sold my Bogner Red pedal, so this would mark the first of these events when I've actually gone home with more money than I left with in the morning
I would like to join in with that
Fuck me that was a long day! Totally worth it though! Night peeps!

It was a slightly weird one for me as I was splitting time between being in the band on bass, playing guitar as an improver and watching others. Consequently I missed out on the other room.
No single shout outs cos somebody gets missed. So a big thank you to the organisers, house band, singers, the experienced guitar players (who were awesome), the improvers who had a go (sincere respect) the people who were helpful (encouragement lessons, gear lending, roadie skills and lifts-you were very kind) the photographers and apologies to anyone I didnt get to chat to.
I think that's everyone.
Lastly I want a Goldtop.
I want to see/hear Cupid's dead, Alnico and whoever did the beat it solo. Still not got internet in our new place though, seriously limited data usage. Looks great, love the group pic

Put me down for the next one please.
How did the amp demos go? Look forward to hearing some clips.
Thanks for letting us all use it, chap. A real (expensive for me) eye opener
Fundamental problem that doesn't help though - need to do a lot more playing with others.
Been doing too much playing with myself.
Ahem.
Also get to as many jams as you can.

In the internet age you get a lot of hype re gear. It was great to see people walk up, use the amp, probably not know what it was and like it. I was, ooh that PRS sounds great, GOLDTOP!!!, he sounds good-it's a Junior, then the Tele players waded in... So it was a proper education for me as I usually use a lot of pedals.
We did well to get through it.
