After a bloomin' marvellous day out in the wilds of Leicester, there's a lot of photo and video evidence of the fun, frivolity, and general jammy-ness to share and discuss.

Do all feel free to chip in.

As a slight aside, I think it would be great to do another Jam day at Quad next year - I'm still up for a North and South meet, and I'll resurrect the other thread to continue the discussion again there, but I reckon the 2018 Quad Studios Leicester Jam day is def. on, I reckon Saturday 1st September, same time same place, but:

- 40 places
- 3 rooms
- Lots and lots of practice time

Let me know what you did/didn't like about this one so I can work out how to improve the next one, and improve the potential North & South Jams

Bravo @Bridgehouse.

I am looking forward to the next one but my involvement will have to be slightly different next time I think.
I really enjoyed drumming for the day but I just won't have the time to rehearse such a long list of songs with the impending day job looming.
I'd quite like to pick up a guitar next time, actually.
We've got a year to plan it though so I am sure a solution will present itself.

I had a chat to our band's drummer (@horse can vouch for his awesomeness) he's a drum tutor by trade...

He's happy to come to the next one and drum - he's in the area so it's an easy trip for him, and he just loves drumming live.. so actually it's a non-problem at all. I'll have another chat to him and confirm. I'm sure we could split up some slots to let other would-be drummers have a go too.

It would be great to see you pick up a guitar at the next one!!!

I'd love to do another one - structure and vibe of the day was great. I'd like the chance to drum on a few songs in the main room if possible, and would also like to sing a few more songs (depending upon what I think after hearing back my 'learning to fly' stand in performance!). I may also look at doing a smaller Northampton area one in a few months for a few hours, if anyone's interested.

Get your name down. The numbers for next year are 40, today was limited to 30 but with the multiple room arrangement the extra 10 won't be a problem.

I never even made it into this mysterious 3rd room!

Posts in this thread get priority, but I'd say we should be fine with 40 places.

I'll also start the proper organising for a North and South Jam towards the end of next week and see where that goes.

Great pics Pablo! I would love to attend one of these but I live in Canada and won't be back in England anytime soon. Could be years if at all at this point. Looks like a great set up.
