I dreamt up a cracker while biking home from work today -

Dm9add13 low-to-high x 15 12 10 0 0 - pick strings 2 5 4 1 3 in order! You get the notes B C D E F ascending up the D dorian scale and ringing into each other

i like this one in place of a minor chord....Am in this case...x09555.....havnt got a name for it but looking at it probably a Am/sus2

root inv is the root in the bass

1st inv is the 3rd in the bass

2nd inv is the 5th in the bass

3rd inv is the 7th in the bass

the chord is Dm/C - x3x231

so that looks to me like Dm7 3rd inv

I stand corrected....it has the minor 3rd ...its one of them chords I play a bit never thought of the name....maybe ill call it Jeff or something..:)
