I have also seen it in the "blah said: 12345:" at the beginning of quotes, like above but with the post number, how did they do that?

Any ideas about my other point?

Is there anyway to access a user to send a PM etc if they are not online right now, or if you can't find a post for them?

Is there an accessible list of users? (that would cover the point above too.) Thanks

back on the 'smilee' thing.......... sometimes when you use the characters to make the smilee they work, and sometimes they dont.

Use the exact same chrs as is displayed by the GUI drop down selector............but they just display the chrs ??

Interesting. We will investigate.

Just to keep you all posted, work is in progress on the next release of the site, but we're building it in a test environment rather than tweaking as we go. In the hope that this means nothing breaks!

Sometimes onthe line of text, sometimes start a new line below.

If I try to delete the 'cr' the same *above happens.

And I can't get them to work at all on any other line in the text, apart from the last.

I don't know enough to make anything but a mess using the script editor.

Not the end of the world, but it would be nice if it was predictable.

Anyhoo I don't even know how to use most of them :-S

ahh I think Ive sussed the deletion of drafts problem - you have to delete them in order, bottom up

Also, given that we have these wisdom, facepalm things is there a way to see what posts they were awarded for?

Check the Ignore List which you can access via your profile.

We're looking at how we could implement the "what did I get this fret for" detail. Lots of ask for that one.

Just sussed that there's an easier way ... click on the name of the person-you-want-to-ignore (ie from one of their posts), and you should see an "Ignore" option top-right of the screen.

Mods, I've got a guy logged in as mark123. He says he can't reply to threads but he can send messages, as he has done to me. He was on the old MR forum, I've done deals with him before so can vouch for his truthiness

He's not getting the email through so he can confirm his account. Can someone wave a magic wand for him?

Moderator chappies, had a notice off another forum from previous members having trouble getting registered.

They're following due procedure but no email received, and they've checked their spam boxes, and made sure they entered the correct email address.

Will someone explain to me how tags work please ? I was under the impression you could add tags to a post, but it doesn't seem to work - it just searches for what I'm trying to add then tells me to get stuffed.
