    They had a UK store recently as the guy up there mentioned, I bought a guitar from them last year, they were good to deal with.  Also bought from the central warehouse, which took ages to come into stock but then was fine.

    The Fame Forum guitars are still the best value guitars available anywhere.

    Would it not be better to deal with Thomann if you must deal with a German company? Or don't they have the same deal?

    Be careful when buying from them. They had a guitar i wanted listed at a sale price a few months back for £500 but kept getting an error message trying to order it. Called their UK customer services team and they got the same error. The agent took my card details and said he would get it sorted and call me back, never got a callback but a few hours later i got order confirmation email but they had charged me the non sale price of £675. I called them straight away and told them i did not authorise them to charge me that amount and to either refund me the price difference or cancel the order, i was told the agent i had originally spoken to had finished for the day but would call me back. Never received a callback, then they stopped answering the phone altogether so i sent multiple emails and again never got a single reply. Ultimately I had to initiate a chargeback through my card company to get a partial refund. Never once got any further responses at all from DV247.
