MOMOSE 1956 Gold top. Lefty MIJ. Rare. SOLD (VIA MAK’S GUITARS)
What's Hot
Well, this is one I never thought I’d sell. I custom ordered it from the Momose factory
its one of their very ‘toppermost of the range’ guitars. (Momose are solely a custom shop division). 2014 ish from memory
They are built to impeccable Japanese standards
Dark back. One piece mahogany
Ebony board ( with the tight grain I’ve ever seen, in fact. Very smooth)
Jescar EVO 6105 gold frets, which have the slinky feel of N/S yet last far longer.
The guitar is mint. I haven’t found a ding yet. (If you think you see a mark, it’ll be a reflection)
OHSC included
43mm nut. Full C neck profile very comfortable as no fat shoulders.
It’s a 59 profile, certainly not a clubby one, nor 60s slim
Nickel hardware 9lb 4oz
I’m a retired hobbyist. Never gigged (!). non smoking home
I’m afraid this is collection only. I don’t think Momose ever offered this as a lefty.

I’m open to offers, but I may end up selling via Charlie Chandler instead
For some reason, the Gibson lawyer don’t seem to have hit them with the ‘cease and desist’ type of letter (hence the headstock)
Handmade in Japan
