    Sad .. saw them quite a few times including when they went all hard rock and formed Mott (basically Mott the Hoople without Hunter). RIP.

    Such a cool bass player, never forget the silver hair and stack heels on TOTP.
    Saw him last at the Mott warm up for the reunion in 2009 in Monmouth. RIP Pete.
