I dropped my wallet in Tesco's toilets (not in the actual toilet !) half an hour ago - it had just over £400 in it....  I'd kept missing the bank to deposit the cash..  As soon as I realised it, I ran back to the loos to be told by a bloke in there that a young lad had picked it up and was taking it to customer services.  Fearing the worst, I legged it to customer services and there he was, standing in a queue to hand my wallet in !  I was so lucky.

Then I get home, pick up the mail and open the first letter....  Notice of Intended Prosecution for speeding... 41 in a 30.  Bollocks.

£60 and another 3 points.  :-(  Still... it could have been £460 and three points ! :-)
