OK.  Had this 2.5 years, and was bought as a pick up and go - and valve reference amp as a backup for my AFX rig.  Its a great amp - and was a steal at the time (last combo available in the UK) BUT it was always a stop gap until I had funds/decided what I wanted as top end amp.  As I approach my 50th next year Ive nailed down my needs/wants and MJW will do the build.  As such I need to liquidate this amp to fund the deposit (I dont want to pay that then not have funds to compete payment when built).

DONT be fooled into thinking this is a high gain monster - I mainly use the clean channel with boost.  Lovely clean to crunchy tones.  It does have a high gain channel - which I use for leads rather than high gain chugging.  The EQ is highly reactive, while the notch and damping helps nail the feel.  With loop, line out and built in reverb - although thats digital - its a great package.

rrp on launch was £2k - with a street price of £1500.  That was probably too high, as most looking for a Fender wouldnt want the "face value" tones while those looking for the tones would go for more traditional high gain manufacturers at that price point.

Tonewise, Its fairly close to a Mesa TA100.  That amp was side by side to this when I demoed it.  Cleans are very similar, while the gain channel is more versatile with the notch.  Can be smoother or more aggressive than the TA dependant on taste - and the TA didnt (I dont think at least) offer the pull/switchable boos ton the clean.  While some may prefer the TA (no issue there) - it is in that kind of ballpark tonally.

I paid £850 for this, and its been in my music room ever since with the exception of 3 trips to nottingham am fests.  It was a steel at the price, and Im looking for £600 for this now.  Obviously its heavy so postage isnt really an option - BUT I work the whole of the Midlands and can travel to s suitable meeting point if necessary.  Buyers closer are welcome to try first.
