Small PA or desktop monitors for small rehearsal space

My home office/music room is 7m by 3m.
Until recently I've monitored vocals and keyboards via headphones or hi-fi attached to my PC.
Now I want to be able to monitor a whole band so a couple of Mics keyboard and electric drums. (Guitar and bass already have amps)
So the question is will a small pair of powered desktop monitors be enough or should I get a small PA or even some floor wedges.
Want to do this on the smallest budget possible
