    Louder, a bit fuller sounding, more (forgive this stupid word but I can't think of a better one) "robust". Definitely much less farty and flappy sounding, but not stiff like I find Deluxe Reverbs to often be. I actually really like the tone of regular Princetons, but they're a bit too ice picky and they have a bass response which is difficult to control when I play my archtop, and the 12" seemed to solve most of these issues for me.
