SOLD:

For sale, low use Phil X Custom 214 VER C30 amp, low use with Evil Robot slip on cover.

This amp sounds amazing, I love it, but I've been offered a guitar at a price too attractive to pas, so something has to go to fund it.

For an extra £50, I'll throw in a brand new sealed set of JJ 6L6 base valves, which re-voice it more a Fender tweed-alike spec, have a read here for details

A truly great little amp, light as a feather, not much headroom, but different tube set (6L6 based) improves that.  Personally, I loved it's awesome breakup growl at home practice levels.  A very versatile little beast.

Mint condition.  No marks or evidence of play wear.  Sounds epic.

Location just off J4 M40 (near M25), High Wycombe.

Comes with footswitch - still in factory plastic.

SOLD NOW. Thanks for looking

I'd be interested to know what that little tweed beast is to the right of the evil robot.

I'm looking for something for home use and intrigued by this amp. Really, can you play this amp at home levels (still sounding good)? thought it would be way to loud.

It sounds excellent at home practice levels.  Come try it if you like, no obligation, and I'll get some IPA in the fridge  ;)

It's currently stock with stock valves.  Sounds amazing to me. I just fancied playing around with the valves, but not got around to it.

Honestly, it's one of my favourite amps ever!!

It's pretty much the same as the Tone Master in the Phil X videos. Low headroom, classic rock amp.

Chsnge the 12AX7 for AU7 with the 6L6's, and you're into old Pete Townsend maxed blond Bassman type tones.  Depending on the hi or low input, it wanders between tweed and blackface.

Its worth trying the new valves, just to try voicing options.  Will also take EL34's!!
