MARSHALL 1979 2104 with 2x black G12M 25W Celestions, 50watt Master Lead DeLuxe MkII Combo
I almost sold this a while ago, then something went haywire and as a result I decided to hold onto it. I've now just done a couple of deals, one on an expensive guitar (ES335 - yes!!!!), and the other on a Fender gigging amp and so I might as well move on my friend of 20years and let somebody else have the retro experience and fun!! (and backache!) She's a heavy thing at 28kg but she's genuine 1979 Marshall. The amp works fine to my knowledge, I've been using it constantly. The cabinet shows signs of life on the road although no big tears in tolex just lots of scuffs and marks/screw holes visible on photo, as well as some screw holes on front grill where it went through a period of sitting end-on so "M" badge was moved round. Also spent time as a head & cab hence caster sockets on sides (now second as shallow hand holds!)
Selling for £500
I live way down in southern France, so viewing is welcome but unlikely. All I can say is that it works fine , all knobs do their thing, no real crackle issues. The valves havent been changed for years but I'll throw a couple of brand-new EL34s in the bag. I did think of changing the valves once and fitted two 1% 1ohm cathode bias Rs to facilitate replacement, but since the originals carried on working I thought it was a waste to ditch them! Thats the only elec. mod carried out and speaking to a specialist on the matter I was reassured that adding these actually gives safety benefits in protecting the output valves. Only other mods are as cabinet ones explained above leaving tell-tale screw hole marks in tolex/grill. ....at the end of the day , it's what it is ....a well used 37 year old amp still cranking it out!
Postage will probably be around £60 basic with another £15 for insurance. I will double box and bubble etc. ....but we can chew through all that if anybody is interested.

Eric is a good friend of mine so deal with confidence. I've shipped a fair few amps to the UK with no hitches so will be happy to lend a hand to make this one travels safely if needed.
