For sale is my Matchless Lightning 1x12 combo. Ex Neville Martin (Guitarist editor).

This is an absolutely awesome amp and is the loudest 15w you'll ever witness. I've gigged it un-mic'd with clean headroom to spare in clubs and pubs.

Confirm that this is the loudest 15w you will ever hear

I read somewhere that in an acoustic test it was only marginally quieter than the dc 30

@ourmaninthenorth - Yep, that's my old beastie and whoever ends up with it (sadly not me) will be very happy. Bloody brilliant amp in every way, nice bit of history being Nevile Marten's old amp that he used in Marty Wilde's band.

@Dominic - I've owned both, it's not much quieter than a DC30 at all, just a little less headroom and a LOT less weight. It's still the heaviest 1x12 I've ever come across though!

Buy with confidence, @jimmyguitar is a gent in every way. I'd have it back in a heartbeat if circumstances were different. Best amp I've ever owned (DC30 included).

Funny how certain amps resurface every now and then. I've seen this beauty for sale before and also seen Nev using it in our local with a great band Deluxomatic. Seems like we never really own them just pay to look after them for a while, I hope to look after this one some day.....
