Maxon OD-820 'Overdrive Pro' short demo

I had a lend of this pedal & a friend asked me to do a quick clip with it as he was interested in buying.

I didn't know much about it but a bit of googling indicates it blends some clean in with the drive sound and also charge pumps the internal voltage to 18v so I'm immediately thinking 'klon'.

It does the clean boost thing pretty much like my klone but the drive seems smoother & at higher / Max setting it isn't as mid heavy & seems to let more of the guitar sound through - lovely pedal

Klon killer IMHO.

Designed by someone who knew what they were doing.

I'm thinking similar @marauder but you don't tend to see many on board pics - only thing I don't like about it is that it's a bit big size wise

I believe the Maxon VOP-9 is the same circuit but in the smaller enclosure.
