SOLD - Vox AC30 CC2 just been fully re-valved and serviced.

Up for sale a Vox AC30 CC2 it has been fully re-valved, (including the GZ34 rectifier) and serviced. In good overall condition, a few minor scuffs on the tolex and one very small stain on the grille cloth. I run an amp repair & service business in Nottinghamshire, www.classicvalveamps.co.uk and I have done all the work on this amp, selling for a band friend.

    I've got to say the design and chassis layout are just about as close as you will get to a vintage AC30, and the transformers are definitely built for the job, unlike a lot of the modern amps I get to work on.

    A friend asked me to re-valve & service it and then if I would try and sell it, as his hips are getting a bit dodgy and it is a heavy beast! but it does sound pretty good I have to say.

    I have a good courier near me.  They'll collect and ship any package (including amps and guitars) in the UK, next day for £25.

    Caveat, good have to be properly packaged/boxed - or they won't accept collection.

    I would be happy to box it up to the best of my ability, take photos etc. for you to arrange a courier / insurance etc. Also, because my workshop is at home, there is always someone around for collection.

    You are welcome to come and try it, but I can't let it go for any less I'm afraid, I believe it is already at a very good price, considering it has just had a full set of valves (pre-amp, output and rectifier).
