1972 Vibro Champ for sale

I have a 1972 Vibro Champ with non-original Weber signature ceramic speaker, nice old valves, missing top back panel.

Has nice old valves including Telefunken, RCA if memory serves (am at work).

Sounds fantastic and is surprisingly loud. Sounds REALLY great run through a 12 inch speaker too, I will include an rca to 1/4 jack cable for using an external cab. American voltage, step down transformer included.

Will surely regret selling. Prices for these have gone entirely nuts on ebay right now and some actually seem to be selling for £500+. Given the astronomic prices of Silverface Princeton Reverbs now I'm not too surprised by that.

I would like £425 + shipping costs (if needed)

@rexter, I have a friend looking for a 2x10 combo. How much for the Bandmaster Reverb?

Hey guys, I thought this might happen haha...

At the moment I would really prefer to keep the ad up for a while and see if anyone has what I would like in a trade before selling. Hope that is ok with forum rules etc... Missed a couple of vintage PRs on eBay over the summer and now kicking myself.

If no trade seems to be on the cards after a little while i'll certainly look at selling some amps outright.

    Thanks!

Sounds to me like you have firm interest in two of the amps (the Band master and the Klone). Time to sell! R.

Going to give it a few more days and see if anyone's got any trades of interest and then will seriously consider sales, though with the way prices are going for these 70s Fenders right now I feel a bit crazy to be thinking about selling them – hence why I'd love to make sure I have vintage Princeton Reverb waiting in the wings!

And Zoolooter, thanks for your comment - re the Klone I need to take it to a tech I think as I'm getting SERIOUS heat from the rectifier and V7 in the last couple of days and a hum has appeared - sods law... Wouldn't feel right passing it on like that.

Great amp . . How big is the step down transformer . . ??? Are you looking for guitar trades ???
Id just like to point out that, despite all the video and DNA evidence, it genuinely wasn't me, your Honour  !

A great amp indeed... the step down transformer is 75W which is fine for the VC
ALternatively I have a very large and very heavy 500W step down transformer that's worth quite a bit that i'd consider including too - maybe just for a little more towards postage as i think it weighs more than the amp! This transformer has a Euro plug on it though so would need a cheap adapter.
