    I note that they "also have an aperture to pass a thread or chain through to wear the pick as an item of jewellery". I think they mean "hole". Jewellery's probably all they're good for.

    I did stump up £5 for a Satriani Chrome Dome pick, gets used for the occasional beep-boop slidey noise type thing but I've never really got metal picks.

    They're not designed to be used as picks - they really are just jewellery. 

    I use a lot of their wooden picks. Very nice sound - you get a much smoother attack than with nylon picks. It's an expensive habit, mind...

    I learned a long time ago not to get into things like weird picks or unusual strings. You inevitably get into a situation where they aren't available before a gig and then you're knackered.
