For Sale is my almost immaculate Vox AC15 H1TV Hand wired combo.

This combines the chime of the EF86 with some added flexibility along with the sizzle of the Top Boost. Both channels can be jumpered together to add to the range of tones possible.

This amp is a lot more flexible than one would expect with the range of switches to vary the output on the EF86 channel as well as a Pentode/Triode switch to cut the output right down. It can go from very loud (the efficient celestion blue speaker helps here) to bedroom at midnight practice (almost). 

The amp here is in beautiful condition and has been revalved with new JJ EL84's in the output and three JJ ECC83s in the Pre-Amp. The recitifier is a NOS Tesla EZ81. I also tried a number of different EF86's and currently this is fitted with a NOS Mazda EF86 which is night and day compared to the stock EH tube. The sale INCLUDES another three EF86's - the original EH (very quiet but dull IMO), a Zearix (similar to the Mazda) and a Unknown one that appears to be British made by the construction (al little noisy but not microphonic and produces a driving mid-range). I will also include a set of used Russian Cryo'd power tubes that have a different tone to the JJ's. Hours of fun swapping tubes.


I'm selling as I prefer things a little heavier so will be looking for a Mesa Stiletto, Budda SuperDrive 45, Orange Rockerverb or similar - will add cash if necessary..
