    So I keep looking at this and much as I can't afford this it has prompted me to negotiate the buy back of my much missed SuperDrive II 30w so if nothing else thanks for the inspiration ! ;-)

    Hey Bob,

    Thanks man, nice to finally get some response from this forum ! I believe the Budda shares some DNA with the 
    Naylor from Dave Friedman's design input.

    As regards the Naylor, well sure its not a well-known name to most folks here in the UK but man, what an amp & tone - 
    a wrench to sell, but needs must - would love some tone hound to snag it and keep the legacy alive.

    Maybe I should put some gaffa tape over the badge and write "Lazy J" - maybe I'd get some response from this place

    Yes, no longer post but been there from the outset of the old Landau board !

    The Naylor is a US amp that has had little EU availability  - just one dealer in Germany now.

    I do understand its quite unknown here - however once you listen to the amp and hear it
    in a mix, most folk are taken. Also the design lineage is not well known...heavyweights
    Guy Hedrick(Guytron) & Dave Friedman have had a hand in amp tweaks/variants. Friedman has used
    the Naylor front-end preamp on a number of projects in particular the Budda Superdrive & his own Naked
    amp which was really a copy of an amp done for Billy Howerdel (A Perfect Circle) - so this amp can do the 
    Nashville clean, modded-Marshall etc.

    Been my longest-owned bit of gear, around 10 years now & ideally I'd never sell but simply have to sacrifice 
    to raise funds for other toys...
