    I tried one of these in Sounds Great once about two years ago - great reputation but had a horrible click/thump noise as you hit the switch.  Might be better now but I was underwhelmed for the price which was about £135 then. 
    He's a hard man to ignore, but it's worth the effort.

    I bought a used one off here not too long ago and it didn't work as it should. Fortunately I was able to return it and got my money back. Bought a bright onion switcher in the end.

    A lot of money for what they are IMO

    This is a pet subject of mine ;
    The best is the Palmer Triage - followed by the Voodoo Lab 4 switcher and then Radial 
    The Palmer will switch 3 amps in all configurations or layers -there is a pre -gain for each which acts as a buffer/booster and then there is an isolator for each to defeat ground hum /ground loop and a phase switch for each to defeat any possible phase reversal
    its brilliantly built and silent switching as you would expect from a quality German product

    The best is the Cornish 240v one. But mega bucks.
