I've got the same stuff on my iPhone I had 2 years ago and I'm bored of it.. spec me something new.. guitar based, rocky, along the lines of early Black Keys, The Virginmarys or Mammal (excellent but now defunct Oz band).

Deep Purple: smoke on the water. It's really good, got a nice slow-start build up, a thumping bass line, a nice riff and great vocals. Try it! Let us know how you get on.

I'd say Winery dogs or any recent Richie Kotzen solo stuff. I really liked Peace Sign a lot.

Maybe have a listen to Beware of Darkness if you like the Black Keys. That riff is one of my favourites, ever. It's a monster.

There's a band called LostAlone that you might like too, they're really rather good. They sound massive for a three-piece (obviously there's more than a little multitracking going on). Plus the singer has a really high voice and looks a lot like Noel Fielding.
