Beautiful to look at, especially the one with the Florentine cutaway, which has some really interesting detail on it.

  • I like the first one with the cut away. But I would accept either one if you wanted to give me an early Crimbo pressie.

Interested to know why you chose to top mount the strings thought the bridge than through the top and under the saddle.

I've seen this done on some Squier Teles and also some G&L ASATs but never on an acoustic.

You see it quite a lot on contemporary designs actually. Standard on Takamines for example.

Is it a torque thing or just convenience?

    Nice work Jose,

I've never seen guitars with Redheart and Laurel for back and sides, what kind of sound do they produce?  I imagine the Redheart is like a rosewood and the Laurel like walnut I presume?

FWIW, the pictures of your guitars on your website don't do the guitars justice in comparison to the ones at Nugent.  Lovely work on this headstock

  • Hello earwighoney

Thank you for the comment, yes is true i need a better camera..... Ton has a better one, i just have my cellphone :(

Well about the woods, you can say that, the sound is very similar, in this cases i never had used this two woods before, the reason i have tested was for two reasons, in first i´m looking for different woods, do tests etc.. well with this 2 guitars i believe the test as run great, both sound very good...

if you wish to test and see by yourself just say ;)
