WTB Valves needed please

I need a matched pair of 6v6GT's and a pair of 12AX7's I dont mind if they have had a bit of use. Want to give my Excelsior a bit of a treat.

Anybody?????

Let me know what you have and some prices please mate, not really sure of budget, I know I could get both the 12ax7 and 6v6's EHX new for around £45-ish so below that preferably.

Oh, completely forgot about this thread! Sorry both! Annoyingly I've just got back from my practice room - I wish I could remember what I had kicking about! IIRC there's a couple of Rubys, an EH or two, and a couple of old Brimars that sound great but are a little microphonic in my AC30. Will give you an accurate (ie not totally guessing) report next time I'm there.

@IanSavage I live in Rednal, my practice room is at Robanna's in Brum city center.

Ah bloody hell, I'm Brum-based too - although I've just found out that the issues I was having were power supply-related not valve-related, so no longer desperate for a pair; shall keep you in mind if I do though!

Right, my list of spare 12ax7s is more eclectic I thought;

2x Sovtek

1x "China"

1x CV4004 '60s Brimar, slightly microphonic but makes a great PI tube

1x long plate '60s Brimar, slightly more microphonic but sounds so good I couldn't throw it out!

So, nothing that special or "mint" I'm afraid!
