Any decent sounds to be wrung from them?
Really they're about the only analogue synths I can afford. Worth a go?

    I think they're meant to be pretty good. For that price, though, I would probably get the new analogue modelling Yamaha Reface - it's polyphonic with loads of different waveforms and even a looper

    I have the microbrute.
    Excellent little thing, especially for the price.
    It's the only real synth I have, all others are software.

    It has its place, it gets used, it is very well built.
    I would like to pair it with the minibrute and expand the feature set a bit.

    Interesting, just had a look at the Reface CS and it seems to have a fairly typical analogue lay out plus as you say polyphonic capability.

    I have the micro, its excellent for leads, bass and sfx. The sequencers good and the little patch bay really opens it up for use with other gear.  this video gives you an idea of what it can do also look for the dude from portishead using the mini, in his studio.

    @Sassafras It was this video which sold me on it. Well worth watching the whole thing as it explains the functions really well.
