    No offence taken. As you said did we discuss this as a PM. Just not sure why the link had to be displayed that's all as it feels you were trying to point something out. But I'm ok about it but I just want to point out that I'm not making much profit after I had to arrange for collection etc. Something that Allo wouldn't know anything about though as it didn't involve him. He's an awesome trader here and definitely recommended :)

    If you can find some good and accurate vids / demos of it then you may get more interest.

    this bloke has contrived, perhaps (as with so many YouTubers) through lack of vyoom, to make an exceptional amp sound like any other. But anyone looking for a Princeton or a Tweed should seriously consider this. Carr's build quality is unmatched in my experience. The Sportsman can sound indistinguishable from my 72 silverface Princeton Reverb, albeit a little warmer if you need and, with the mids maxed and a decent gain pedal, not far off my Lazy J20. Stonking amp.

    It's 19 watts so should be plenty of headroom for a pub. To be honest though I haven't gigged it as it hasn't left the house since it was bought or been cranked but I would imagine it would be similar to the J20

    I've owned both, and LOVE both of these amps.

    I've played live with the Sportsman in a church/school size room, with no problems. These are Carr watts, so they tend to be louder. I'd say by definition though, a 'Princeton' type amp is designed to give a wee bit.

    The Sportsman still has some of the best, warm 6v6 break up sounds I've ever encountered. I've hovered over buying this myself about 60 times...
