Withdrawn.

I know I'll regret it, and I'd just be trading for the hell of it.

It's a keeper ;)

Marlin

Thinking of parting ways with my beloved Tone King Imperial.  These point to point versions were only made for a year.

Might be interested in swapping/trading, or just straight up cash sale.  Mint condition, comes with custom padded and fitted cover (and footswitch).  Black version with white piping.

Interested in Jazzmasters with fat necks and ES195.

Well, I have had many many lingering looks at it.....  But, I have a 65 Amps Lil Elvis (head and 2x12 cab), which does a very similar job.  I'm tempted, but undecided.....

The Imperial is 20w, but it's the loudest 20w amp i've ever heard.  15w is more 'wife friendly'.....

Lol. Exact same footswitch (excluding graphics obvs) as my Two Rock Sensor. Good switches though. REAL bright LED's in mine. :)

  • I'll be the one to point it out but if it wasn't me it'd be someone else - I believe forum rules require a price?

Yes, it's got the Ironman attenuator. Its stock, unmolested, the creamback sounds lovely in there.

I had a 68 Vibrioux, this utterly kicks it's ass. The drive channel is pretty damn spectacular too, and it's get awesom drippy reverb, and beautiful vibrato.

Quiet as a church mouse too

  • I've been gigging one of these for the past few months.  Very nice amps.

I don't gig any more, so it's a bit powerful for home use.  In fact, it's never been gigged.  The previous owner (who bought it new from Andertons) also played it at home.

I've given it a bit of welly a few times, sounds spectacular.  Lush, rich clean tones, and great reverb.  The attenuator is also very effective at reigning it in while maintaining the tone.

great bit of kit, but i'm got other smaller amps that are less neighbour antagonising.

    M :)

  • I have a Victoria Regal II I may be looking at trading? Can run any combination of 8 pin power tunes from one 6v6 at 5w to 2 el34's at 35w or one 6l6 and one kt66 etc, very cool!

It's a 1x15 tweed combo with tube reverb and bias modulation tremolo

@riccash69 ;  It's interesting, but 35w is a lot for me.  The Tone King is 20w, and it's a bit too much for my needs. Not sure I could tame 35w at home.

Any one got any guitar trades to offer?

Would like a USA Jazzmaster with a fat neck, but open to suggestions.

This is a tentative feeler too - might you be interested in a USA Fender "the Strat"?  I've owned it from new, completely stock.  Candy Apple Red, maple neck.  The neck may be too small for you.

Sorry. I'm not a Strat man. And, can't do skinny necks. But thanks anyway. I do appreciate the interest.
    Cheers

you may want to examine the rules over bumping posts before someone more authoritative than I cottons on. You're only allowed one every two days I believe. Just a friendly word of advice. :)
