    It has to be said..Richie Kotzen is much awesomeness......both vocally and playing-wise
    Agreed, but I don't think his songwriting is up to much to be honest.  He does have his moments but, IMO, most of his material isn't great, Winery Dogs included.  
    Yeah possibly a bit "paint by numbers" song-writing wise, but was actually blown away by his vocals..

    Yes, I think he is probably the best vocalist out of any of those shred guys from the 80s and 90s.  Live he is always really great too.  I have a Poison live DVD and Kotzen's backing vocals are better than Brett Michaels!

    I've been picking up a few recordings from archive.org and sugarmegs, but wonder if anybody has found any good sources for recommended selections, to cut down on the need to trawl through the vast amount available? I expected google to turn up recommendations, but not much luck so far.
